There are many reefs and shipwrecks around the islands of the Caribbean.  Some are close to shore and can be explored using just a mask and snorkel. Others are further from shore or in deeper water. SCUBA divers strap air tanks to their backs and breathe via a mouth piece attached to the tank. They may stay underwater for an hour or more. They use fins to propel themselves through the water and wear a face mask so they can see all the wonders of the underwater world.
On land there are farms for grain, farms for fruit and vegetables and farms for cattle and sheep. In the water there are farms for fish. Fish are farmed all around the world. Fish farms set up the best growing conditions for fish and protect them from predators. Catching fish in a fish farm is a lot easier than catching fish at sea.

Once grown, fish are sold to restaurants, markets and shops.  Salmon and shrimp are some of the fish farmed in the Caribbean. Fish farming is called aquaculture (like agriculture, which is growing crops and animals; and horticulture, which is growing plants and flowers).
